Michael Lundquist Grant to Advance MSA-C Research

The Michael Lundquist Grant to Advance MSA-C Research, funded by the National Ataxia Foundation, offers $50,000 for innovative research on Multiple System Atrophy-Cerebellar Type. The National Ataxia Foundation (NAF) is committed to funding cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical research relevant to hereditary and sporadic Ataxia.
NAF invites research applications from domestic and international non-profit and for-profit institutions. We accept applications across all career stages, from graduate students through senior researchers and established clinicians. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for some research grants from NAF; please check the specific eligibility requirements for each grant type for more information.
NAF is excited to introduce a new grant program this year thanks to a generous donor. The Michael Lundquist Grant to Advance MSA-C Research will be awarded to one independent researcher annually. This program is designed to support new and innovative studies that are specifically relevant to the cause, pathogenesis or treatment of Multiple System Atrophy-Cerebellar Type (MSA-C).
This 1-year grant provides $50,000 in research funding and will follow the same submission timeline as our other programs.

Eligibility

Eligibility & GuidelinesApplicants must have completed their post-doctoral training and have a full-time appointment as a faculty member, clinical fellow, or senior scientist at a research institution.Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for this NAF grant award.Grant applications are accepted from U.S. and international institutions.Individuals are ineligible if they were the lead PI on an awarded NAF grant within the past two fiscal years.Applicants are only eligible to submit one application per year. Applicants should select the grant program that best suits their current position and proposal.
