Meritrust Member Scholarship

Overview: Meritrust (formerly Premier Members Credit Union) awards nine scholarships of $2,500 each annually to support educational goals. One scholarship is awarded to one eligible student from each of nine institution categories.

Geographic Scope: Colorado and Kansas

Eligible Institutions:

  • University of Colorado

  • Colorado State University

  • University of Denver

  • University of Northern Colorado

  • Any one at-large Colorado-accredited university, college or technical school

  • University of Kansas

  • Wichita State University

  • Kansas State University

  • Any one at-large Kansas-accredited university, college or technical school
    • Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be a current Meritrust member in good standing (both primary and joint owners are eligible)
    • Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the 2026-2027 school year
    • Must attend an accredited university, college, or technical school
    • Must provide proof of enrollment or acceptance to the university/college

      Application Requirements

      Applicants must submit:
    • Completed scholarship application
    • Three short answer essay responses addressing:
    • - Educational goals - Commitment to community - What it means to be "financially fearless"
