Mercyhealth Ethnic Minority Nursing Scholarship Three $1,000 scholarships are available to ethnic minority individuals pursuing a nursing degree and residing in Mercyhealth’s northern Illinois service area. Students must also be fluent in Spanish. Must have obtained and maintained a grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 in related studies. Scholarships will be awarded based on an individual’s academic standing, extracurricular activities, volunteer efforts and financial need. This scholarship is funded by the Mercyhealth Volunteer Association of Northern Illinois.
