Overview

Mental Health & Wellness Grants for Creatives

Purpose: Support artists and creative workers in navigating and preventing addiction and substance use disorder. These grants help artists experiencing social and emotional challenges without sufficient means to obtain treatment.

Funding Source: City of Indianapolis and Opioid Settlement Funds

Geographic Scope: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion, Morgan, Johnson, or Shelby County

Award Amount: $250 - $750

Eligible Applicants:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Able to provide Social Security Number (SSN), Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), or A-Number/USCIS Number

  • Resident of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion, Morgan, Johnson, or Shelby County

  • Have worked professionally as an artist or arts administrator for at least one year
  • What Grants Cover:

  • One-on-one therapy

  • Support groups

  • Art therapy

  • Wellness & mindfulness practices
