Purpose: Provides critical support for students, families, and local communities to ensure every student has access to mental health resources they need to thrive. Bridges gaps in access where traditional funding sources fall short.

Current Year Impact: $122,000 donated to mental health

Focus Areas:

CCSD Mental Health Resource Program (MHRP)

• Eliminates barriers to accessing quality mental health support
• Assists with financial challenges, insurance complexities, and finding specialized care
• Provides referrals through trusted school staff (counselors, psychologists, social workers)
• Offers specialized therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief
• Includes dedicated MHRP coordinator to connect students with experienced therapists

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Support

• Builds essential skills including:
- Self-awareness - Self-management - Social awareness - Relationship skills - Responsible decision-making
• Workshops, classroom support, and specialized resources
• Strengthens emotional intelligence and peer interactions

Judi's House Pilot Program

• Partnership with Judi's House nonprofit for grief care
• Group therapy sessions for elementary students
• Helps children process loss in safe, supportive environment
• Pilot successfully launched; expansion planned

Partnership with Servicios De La Raza

• Culturally responsive care and holistic support
• Bilingual and bicultural therapists
• Addresses needs of underserved populations
• Therapy tailored to wide range of needs
• Removes language, cultural, and financial barriers
