The Second Presbyterian Church Foundation created the Memphis Resilience Center Fund to support a new ministry of the Christian Psychological Center (CPC). The fund was established due to the awareness of the lack of mental and emotional health provisions specifically in under-resourced communities of Memphis.- Counseling and other clinical services

Mission
The Christian Psychological Center's mission is to provide hope and direction to those experiencing life difficulties in a manner that reflects God's love and grace through:- Heal wounds of children who have experienced trauma
- Promote resilience skills through workshops for non-profits
- Create a pipeline of resources for non-profits
- Provide affordable Christian counseling (individuals at 175% of poverty level or below can receive services for as little as $10)
