Purpose: Named in honor of Clinical TMS pioneer Dr. Bob Sammons, this grant facilitates innovative research opportunities and supports translational and/or clinical investigators of TMS.

Award Amount: Up to $25,000 per year for up to two years

Innovative TMS research

Translational research in TMS therapy

Clinical investigations of TMS

Research on treatment-resistant depression and OCD

Research on PTSD treatment with TMS (particularly in veteran populations)

Personalized brain stimulation targeting

Predictive models for TMS treatment response

Application Timeline: Applications open in February of each year

About Dr. Bob Sammons

Dr. Bob Sammons is a prominent figure in TMS therapy who co-founded TMS Solutions in 2014. He is highly involved in the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS), serving on multiple committees and as Chairman of the 2023 Annual Meeting. He received CTMSS's first-ever Legacy Award and is a veteran psychiatrist with particular interest in PTMS for PTSD treatment.
