Meffie Awards

Overview: Created by MEF and co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Madison, the Meffie Awards celebrate innovation in teaching in Madison Public Schools. Award-winning grants are selected based on several criteria and winners are announced at the Madison Public Schools Teacher Convocation.

Geographic Scope: Madison Public Schools, Madison, New Jersey

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrating creativity and ingenuity in teaching

  • Promoting collaboration with peers

  • Possessing the ability to reach a large portion of the student body
  • Eligibility:

  • Teachers in Madison Public Schools

  • Grants selected from teacher-initiated grant proposals
  • Award Announcement: Announced at the Madison Public Schools Teacher Convocation at the start of the new school year
