Overview

The McGlame-Wordell Scholarship is named after two former long-time members of PHCC: James McGlame (President 1961-62) and Hollis Wordell (President 1952-53). Both held education near and dear to them and strived to improve the education of the trade and expose young people to a higher level of education and professionalism.

    Eligibility

  • PHCC of Massachusetts Contractor member sons, daughters, and grandchildren pursuing a career in the plumbing, heating, cooling industry
  • Enrolled in a full-time degree or certificate program at:
  • - Four-year college - Two-year community college - Technical college - Massachusetts trade school - Certified apprentice program

Award Amount

Varies depending on the size of the fund, the number of qualified applicants, and the criteria of the fund
