MCCF General Grant

The MCCF General Grant supports nonprofit organizations in McPherson County, focusing on various sectors including arts, education, health care, and community development. Applications are accepted continuously, with specific deadlines throughout the year. However, the foundation does not grant funds to individuals or for purposes such as lobbying or support for discriminatory organizations. This grant aims to enhance community programs that benefit residents.

NOTE: MCCF General Grant Application – Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with soft deadlines the third Wednesday of January, March, July, September, and November. There is a hard deadline on the third Wednesday of May each year, and applications are not accepted from that date until June 15..
Applicants must demonstrate their program benefits residents of McPherson County.

Program – this is the most common application type and should be used for requests regarding programming you intend to offer your clientsEquipment – this process should be used for requests regarding a piece of equipment or technology or other items that don’t change the physical buildingCapital – this process is generally for requests regarding updates to or for a new physical structure.)
What Kinds Of Programs Does The MCCF Fund?
The McPherson County Community Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations in the McPherson area with a focus in Arts; Basic Human Needs and Disaster Relief: Children and Youth; Community Development and Leadership; Conservation, Preservation, and Beautification; Education; the Elderly; and Health Care and Mental Health.

Ineligibility

MCCF does not make grants to individuals.We also ordinarily do not support:Annual appeals in membership drivesGrants to support individualsTravel for individuals, bands, sports teams, classes and similar groupsLobbying or political purposesSupport of organizations that practice discrimination by race, color, creed, sex, age or national originOperating deficits or retirement of debt
