NOTE: The MTM Grant Process will include a two-stage process. For the first stage, organizations will apply through the online grant portal. These applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the MTM Grants Subcommittee, and a select group of organizations will be invited to do a live two-minute pitch to the MTM Grants Committee. MTM is a hometown company committed to providing support for our diverse community by supporting inclusive programs that include the quality of life in our community. Focus Areas: Economic Impact Workforce development in the form of education, training, and supportive services that advances our community's ability to respond to our economic and job growth in our three-county area Education PreK-12 STEM programs in and outside of schools; preference for programs supporting low-to-moderate income students Quality of Life Programs moving the needle to improve the lives of people in North Alabama Grant Amount: Up to $20,000 Funding Priorities: Fits closely with MTM Fund DescriptionTies into one of the MTM Focus Areas Project timeline of at least one year (not a one-time event)Offers unique programming and/or is collaborative in nature Programs that have not previously been pitched to the grants committeeProvides clear and measurable outcomes Grantee Responsibilities: Successful grantees will be required to sign a Grant Agreement prior to receiving funding. The Grantee must also report back on the use of the grant funding and what measurable outcomes were achieved as a result of the funded project.Eligibility

Geographic FocusLimestone, Madison, or Morgan Counties in AlabamaAll grants from this Fund must be made for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes to an organization that is described in IRS code as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Qualified organizations also include schools, religious institutions, or government agencies (when the funds are used for a public purpose) located in the Greater Huntsville area. NOTE: If an organization receives grant funding in two consecutive grant cycles, they must sit out one grant cycle. Therefore, if an organization pitched a project in both the spring and fall 2025 grant cycles, they are not eligible for this grant cycle.Eligible Expenses:Program costs for new and/or existing programsReasonable staff and/or volunteer time and training associated with the implementation of the program/projectIneligibility
