Mathews CF - Community Impact Grants

The Mathews CF Community Impact Grants support local nonprofits to enhance cultural vibrancy, economic prosperity, educational success, and health and wellness in Mathews County. Funded by generous donors, the program focuses on impactful projects that yield positive, lasting changes. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) charities, which may apply once a year. This initiative fosters collaboration with grantees to achieve essential community goals and adapt to evolving needs.

Fund Summary:
Annually we award competitive Community Impact Grants to advance cultural vibrancy, economic prosperity, educational success, and health and wellness in Mathews by supporting local nonprofits and agencies. Our results-based grantmaking framework enables us to make more focused funding decisions and measure their impact in our four funding priority areas.
This program is partially funded by the generosity of donors who have created funds to respond to community needs as they change or emerge over time. Grants are available to nonprofit organizations and agencies providing programs and services that directly impact and are most likely to produce positive and lasting changes for Mathews County. MCF works closely with grantees to advance these goals in all of our priority areas.

Eligibility

Grants are available to nonprofit organizations and agencies providing programs and services that directly impact and are most likely to produce positive and lasting changes for Mathews County.Proposals are accepted from 501(c)(3) charitable organizations serving Mathews County.Organizations are limited to competitive grant support one time in a calendar year. From time to time, exceptions may be made if MCF extends an invitation or undertakes a special initiative.
