Program Description:
Monthly matching program that multiplies team endowment contributions. Each month, the foundation allocates funds ($60,000 documented in 2018) to match donations made to team endowments. The match ratio is calculated monthly based on total donations received.

How It Works:

Teams receive donations or conduct fundraisers

Donations are contributed to their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment

Matching funds are applied based on monthly ratio

Example: $50 donation matched at ratio of $.7572 = $37.80 additional contribution

Contributions from fundraising with foundation's free fundraising products receive the same match ratio

Proceeds from foundation's free fundraising products

Historical Impact:

2017: $8,209,670 added to endowments through 2:1 matching program

February 2018: 180 teams received matching funds ($.7572 match ratio)

January 2018: 172 teams received matching funds ($.62 match ratio)

Match Ratio Examples:

January 2018: $.62 per dollar donated

February 2018: $.7572 per dollar donated

Ratio varies monthly based on donation volume and available matching funds
