Application Process
1. Download the scholarship application form from the MSU Extension enrollment website or contact MSUE for the form
2. Complete the application including:
- Proof of financial need (income-based)
- Brief statement explaining why you wish to take the Master Gardener Training Program
- Brief statement explaining why you wish to be considered for financial assistance
3. Submit by deadline: Applications must be received by August 6th (for Fall 2014 program example)
4. Register separately for the Master Gardener Program training itself (registration deadline typically August 21st, completed online)
- Completed scholarship application form
- Financial need documentation
- Written statements (brief) regarding interest in program and financial assistance need
