Society of Toxicology Founded in 1961, the Society of Toxicology (SOT) is a professional and scholarly organization of scientists from academic institutions, government, and industry representing the great variety of scientists who practice toxicology in the US and abroad. The Society’s mission is to create a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology. MASOT Student Achievement Award Description The MASOT Student Achievement Award is a $1,000 award that was developed to recognize significant achievements of MASOT doctoral student members. Criteria that will be considered for this award include academic excellence, outstanding scientific achievement in the field of toxicology, and leadership and service to SOT, MASOT and the applicant’s academic institution. Recipients of the Student Achievement Award are ineligible to apply again in subsequent years.Eligibility
