Overview: An emergency needs fund created to help TC3 nursing students address unexpected financial burdens that could otherwise prevent them from completing their education. Mary Porcari Brady was a nurse for nearly 30 years, spending part of her career at Cortland Memorial Hospital. When she passed in 2001, her surviving children established the Mary Porcari Brady Fund to assist nursing students. The fund now supports students at four different community colleges in New York.

Fund Administration: Administered directly by TC3 nursing faculty with no administrative or overhead costs — 100% of contributions go directly to nursing students.

Eligible Expenses

• Emergency needs that could derail a student's education
• Examples: unexpected financial burdens and emergencies
