Mary Jane Ritson Charitable Trust Grant

The Mary Jane Ritson Charitable Trust Grant supports eligible nonprofit organizations in Jefferson County and Steubenville, Ohio, by distributing one-time awards from a variety of charitable trusts and foundations. The grant focuses on projects that demonstrate social impact, sustainability, and effective financial accountability. Organizations must have at least three years of operation and show measurable outcomes from previous projects. The grant does not support general operating costs or for-profit initiatives.

Charitable Trusts
Grants are awarded to eligible nonprofit organizations from nearly 200 perpetual charitable trusts and private foundations for which PNC is trustee. The Committee's mission is to implement the legacies set forth by the individual donors who established these trust relationships with PNC by distributing grants to worthy 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations at local and regional levels.
Supporting a variety of programmatic and geographic focused organizations that are aligned with the charitable intent of our donors.
The grants are one-time awards and are not pledges of continued support. Size of grants depends on the fit with donors' intent, availability of funds, breadth of organizations represented in the grant proposal mix, and the project's social impact.
This trust is designated for the Jefferson County and Steubenville, Ohio area.

Eligibility

Grants are awarded to eligible nonprofit organizations.Organizations exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Code are further classified into subsections.4940(D)(2) - Private operating foundation exempt from paying excise taxes or investment income.

Are submitted from organizations that have 3 years of operation in full service to others. Also, the program or project for which you are applying needs to have at least one (1) complete year with a report showing the measurable impact available prior to applying
