Marshall Foundation Grants

The Marshall Foundation for Community Health, established in 1974, supports health initiatives in El Dorado County's Western Slope. It funds programs that enhance community health and addresses local healthcare needs through charitable donations. As a 501(c)(3) organization, it ensures that all projects align with health priorities identified in community assessments, facilitating improved health outcomes for residents.

Mission and Purpose
Marshall Foundation for Community Health is a catalyst for a healthy community.
Leading the way to a healthier community since 1974, Marshall Foundation for Community Health has supported Marshall Medical Center and community health programs serving the population of El Dorado County’s Western Slope.
The Foundation encourages, receives, administers and disburses donated funds for community health programs and Marshall Medical Center. Charitable donations and bequests provide support to the hospital and facilities, as well as community projects that improve and meet local healthcare needs.
The Marshall Foundation for Community Health is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Grant Making Scope
We fund programs and projects that benefit community health.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or have a fiscal sponsor that is a 501(c)(3) organization, and is capable of administering the project’s funds.
Project or program focus must support health priorities as identified by Marshall Foundation for Community Health, determined by the current community health needs assessment. Our service area for programs and projects is the Western Slope of El Dorado County. Grant funds are to be used to improve the quality of health of El Dorado County’s West Slope residents.
