Eligibility: Female and non-binary/third gender residents of participating northeast Connecticut towns

Overview: Established by Laura and Scott Moorehead in 2021 to encourage young people "from artists to engineers and everyone in between, to go out and grab the world."

What They Fund: Scholarships for female and non-binary/third gender students from northeast Connecticut towns

Background: Laura and Scott Moorehead are retired and active in community service. They established this fund to support women and non-traditional gendered people who face greater barriers to scholarship opportunities compared to white males.
