Lung Health Research Grants - Social Innovations Track

Overview: Breathe PA is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for research leading to improved care and outcomes for patients with lung disease. The social innovations track focuses on creating and implementing new processes, ideas, or organizational models to address social issues and improve the well-being of patients with lung disease.

Funding Period: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Award Amount: Up to $50,000 maximum per track

Focus Areas:

  • Social innovations and new organizational models

  • Addressing social issues affecting patients with lung disease

  • Improved well-being of patients with lung disease

  • Respiratory disease prevention in future generations

  • Improving quality of life for those suffering from respiratory diseases
  • Eligibility:

  • Applicants may apply for funding under one or both tracks

  • An applicant may only receive one grant (cannot receive grants from both tracks)

  • Resumes and/or CVs for the project team are required for the grant submission to be considered complete
