Lt. Hal Henderson '67 Ice Hockey Endowment

Overview: Memorial endowment supporting the Air Force Academy ice hockey program.

Purpose: Covers the annual cost of the Most Valuable Player award at the cadet awards banquet. Remainder of annual funds are used by the coaching staff to support travel, equipment, nutrition, facility improvements and other program needs.

Honors: Lt. Hal Henderson '67, who was killed in Vietnam on August 2, 1969. The endowment was established by Hal's longtime girlfriend Margo Henderson of Bozeman, Montana, who has personally funded the annual MVP award for over 50 years.
