Who We Are The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado fosters collaboration, serves as a catalyst for community projects, and is a trusted steward and service provider to philanthropists and nonprofit organizations. We manage and administer over 500 charitable funds and over $185 million in assets (as of June 30, 2021). Donations to our funds are tax deductible and grants from the funds are distributed to public charities, schools, and churches based on the charitable intent of our donors. Our staff and board are 100% local, and we have served Northern Colorado since 1975. The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado meets national standards for operational quality, donor service and accountability in the community foundation sector. This accreditation provides our donors with peace of mind and the knowledge that funds are managed in compliance with established best practices and the highest standards for community philanthropy. Loveland Generations Fund The Loveland Community Fund is an endowment supported by local residents since 1992 to provide a sustainable funding source for long-term community benefit. A committee comprised of community members from Loveland (the Loveland Community Fund Committee) provides input to the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees and staff and is responsible for recommending grants from unrestricted and field of interest funds established to support the Loveland community, including the Loveland Community Fund.Eligibility
