Overview
The Love Your Neighbor Scholarship, offered by the Amarillo Area Foundation, supports seniors who demonstrate active community leadership and church involvement. Applicants must submit a letter from their youth minister or pastor. This scholarship is available to students from the top 26 counties in the Texas Panhandle, provided they attend WTAMU or Amarillo College and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference is given to those pursuing Christian-based degrees.
As a leader in philanthropic, nonprofit, and community issues, the Foundation is a catalyzing force that addresses the community’s most critical challenges by providing significant, shared and lasting results.
