Jake Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Learning Disabled Grant

The Jake Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund, managed by the Amarillo Area Foundation, supports graduating seniors from the Texas Panhandle's northern counties who exhibit integrity, ambition, and strong moral character. Eligible applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate their ability to overcome challenges posed by learning disabilities, while also valuing loyalty to family and friends. This scholarship empowers students to pursue higher education, fostering their personal and academic growth.

Jake Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Learning Disabled
Graduating seniors from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle. They must exhibit integrity, ambition, good moral character and a strong desire to achieve a higher level of education. Demonstrate the ability to overcome obstacles caused by learning disability. Demonstrate a high standard of values, such as loyalty to friends, family, and faith.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible to apply. Major in field of choice at any college/university of choice.
