Overview

Mission The mission of the Long Cove Club Charitable Advisory Committee (LCCCAC) is to encourage and support charitable giving by the Members of the Long Cove Club Community and to provide grants in support of current needs in the areas of health, housing, hunger and education in Beaufort and Jasper Counties, with particular focus on projects and programs serving the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton communities. In its advisory capacity, the committee adheres to the following guidelines: The Advisory Committee has established grantmaking objectives that are intended to ensure Long Cove Fund resources are allocated consistently and appropriatelyOur grantmaking focus is on nonprofit organizations holding 501(c) (3) designation by the IRS in Beaufort and Jasper counties, with emphasis on projects and programs serving Hilton Head Island and Bluffton communitiesOnly one grant proposal may be submitted per organization per grant cycleGrants are awarded in the areas of Health, Housing, Hunger and Education.  Grant proposals require an application and site visitGrants awarded are for one yearGrants are awarded on the merits of specific projects/programs, not as supplementary funding for an organization’s operating and/or capital budgetGrants awarded will be monitored. An Interim report is required and instructions will be emailed to the grant contact person.At the discretion of the Advisory Committee, applicants may seek renewal of support for a previously funded project or program if compliant with all conditions and reports
