What is the Logan County Charitable & Educational Foundation? It is a tax-exempt, nonprofit philanthropic institution with a long term goal of building permanent funds established by many separate donors for the broad-based charitable benefits of the residents of Logan County. In other words, LCC&EF has a long-term goal of securing resources to address the changing needs of Logan County. We are working to identify community issues and opportunities and act as a leader and conveyor using our members and/or financial resources to address immediate and long term community issues and opportunities. Mission Statement The mission of the Logan County Charitable and Educational Foundation is to enrich the community charitably, educationally and scientifically by improving the quality of life and promoting philanthropy. Annual Community Grant Program The Logan County Charitable & Educational Foundation makes annual discretionary grants to charitable organizations in the Logan area for the benefit of the community in areas of education, health and human services, public recreation, civic beautification, and artistic endeavors. These grants are made from the Foundation’s unrestricted fund, as are used to address the community’s most pressing needs and promising opportunities
