Literacy Ignite Grants

Program Type: Classroom grant program for PSD educators

Overview: Each school year the PSD Foundation provides funding for vital access to educational and developmental opportunities to students across Poudre School District. The Ignite Grants program was refreshed during the pandemic (historically called the SPIE Grant program) to make it more relevant to the needs of district educators in today's classrooms.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants: PSD educators district-wide

  • Focus: Literacy - programs and supplies that focus on providing supports for all students to reach proficiencies in reading and math
  • Award Details:

  • Up to $2,000 per application

  • Funding for programming that will help improve learning outcomes and provide access to educational opportunities that would otherwise not be possible
  • Funding Source: Generosity of individuals and organizations in the community
