Overview

Grants of up to $7,500 are available to nonprofits to provide solutions to unmet community needs in Lewisville and Clemmons and raise organizational capacity, strengthen a sense of community, and have an end goal to become self-sufficient by way of attracting or leveraging additional resources in the future. The Foundation will fund new programs or projects as well as the expansion or continuation of impactful programs or projects.

* The Shallow Ford Foundation invites and encourages applications from tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations serving Lewisville and Clemmons to apply to the 2025 Clemmons-Lewisville Community Grants program.
* Must have been in existence for at least three years (based on date of IRS determination letter) and have achieved a record of effective service and sustainability.
* Must have a current Charitable Solicitation License from the Secretary of State.

* Proposals should provide solutions to unmet community needs, raise organizational capacity, strengthen a sense of community, and ultimately become self-sufficient by attracting or leveraging additional resources in the future.
* The Foundation will fund new programs or projects as well as the expansion or continuation of impactful programs or projects.

Ineligibility

* Grants will generally not be awarded for:
* Fundraising events, sponsorships, memberships, advertising, or promotional products
* Capital, endowment, or annual campaigns
* Activities that do not demonstrate measurable, sustainable impact
* Clubs, sports teams, or other services limited to a select membership
* Cemeteries
* Political or lobbying activities prohibited by the IRS
* Public agencies for mandated or otherwise government-funded services
* Individual grants or awards
