Geographic Scope: Lancaster County, PA

Overview:
United Way of Lancaster County's Level Up & Launch initiative empowers grant partners by not only awarding funding but also connecting them with new and existing donors. The program features a unique dollar-for-dollar matching mechanism where United Way matches every community donation dollar-for-dollar, up to the original grant amount, allowing partners to potentially triple their funding.

Focus Areas:

2025-2026 Grant Partners:

Economic Mobility

• ASSETS Lancaster: Spanish-language financial literacy training program addressing economic disparities for Spanish-speaking communities. Includes introductory sessions, Idea Incubator, and Finance Boot Camp.
• Bench Mark Program: Expansion of Women's Strength and Fitness Center with part-time Peer Mentor position for program graduates, plus financial wellness curriculum and childcare support.
• Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County (CAP): Customized refrigerated mobile market truck to bring affordable, locally grown produce to food-insecure communities. Target: 200 individuals by 2026.

Health

• Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County (CAP): Mobile market truck project (see above under Economic Mobility).

Education

• Let's Go 1-2-3: "Outdoor Careers" program engaging 75 underrepresented youth (8th-12th graders) in environmental education, green job exposure, and leadership across five Lancaster County sites.
• Loft Community Partnership: "Loft Community Kitchen" expansion with food pantry, hands-on workshops on growing food and healthy cooking, and community garden. Target: 150+ workshop participants, 50 families receiving meal kits.

Matching Period: July 1st through November 14th (for 2025-2026 cycle)
