Funding Focus

Each year, grants are awarded to tax-exempt charitable or educational organizations making a significant difference in the community through food and hospitality. Funded initiatives support:

• Community health through food and nutrition education
• Sustainable food practices and food equity
• Culinary education and workforce development
• Food justice initiatives
• Programs serving underserved and low-income communities, particularly women and youth
• Food entrepreneurship and business development for low-income entrepreneurs
• Food access for food-insecure populations
• Hospitality and food service worker training and professional credentialing

• Geographic Preference: D.C. area and surrounding Baltimore-Washington region
• Mission Alignment: Must demonstrate commitment to food, beverage, hospitality, education, and philanthropy

Timeline
