Leasure Family Scholarship Grant

The Leasure Family Scholarship, administered by the Muskingum County Community Foundation, supports educators from Zanesville or Muskingum County pursuing graduate studies. Eligible applicants must be enrolled or accepted in a graduate program at an accredited institution without employer tuition reimbursement. With a lifetime limit of $2,000, the scholarship emphasizes community involvement, academic performance, and letters of recommendation, fostering educational advancement in the local community.

The Envisioned Future of the Muskingum County Community Foundation is that Muskingum County’s quality of life attracts organizations and people to pursue their dreams and practice their passions.
Since its founding, MCCF has awarded more than $8 million to local charities and currently has over $22 million in assets.
Teachers and educators who work and/or live in Zanesville or Muskingum County who are currently enrolled in or have been accepted to a graduate program at an accredited institution of higher education (full-time or part-time) are eligible as long as their employers do not reimburse their tuition. Consideration is given to essays, recommendations, grades, and community involvement. An individual is limited to receiving a total of $2,000 from the Leasure Family Scholarship during his/her lifetime.
