Learn Fresh Fellowship for Culturally Inclusive Education

Program Mission
The Learn Fresh Fellowship aims to increase representation of curriculum writers of color within the mainstream American education system.

Focus Areas

  • Creation of standards-aligned curricula that authentically represent cultural, ethnic, and racial identities of communities

  • Culturally inclusive and DEI-focused curriculum development

    • Program Description
    Fellows work closely with the Learn Fresh team to develop and refine a self-defined project that falls within the fellowship's mission. The Learn Fresh team provides:

  • Direct mentorship and support

  • Spaces to refine, test, and promote new work

  • Connection with existing community of education, program, and philanthropic partners

    • Recent Fellows (2021-22 Class)

  • Baltimore, MD (Ashley Barnett)

  • Denver, CO (Chris Robinson)

  • Philadelphia, PA (Melanie Young)
