Overview

Foundation Overview Awarding grants for the betterment of the Long Beach community is an important aspect of the work of the Long Beach Community Foundation. Each year, the LBCF Board strategically chooses one or more issues based on the current and emerging needs of the community. Organizations and/or service providers who are able to address one or more of these needs in Long Beach are encouraged to apply. Often new programs are designed and implemented as a result of the grant received. Long Beach Community Foundation Community Impact Grant Grants will be awarded to support programs that best address the post-pandemic learning loss recovery and/or the emotional/mental health needs of youth and young adults in the Long Beach community
