Overview
Scholarship for candidates who intend to pursue graduate education beyond the Professional Athletic Training Program and plan athletic training as their profession.
Geographic Scope: Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association District III (Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and District of Columbia)
Eligibility:
- Intends to continue academic work beyond Professional Athletic Training Program
- Plans to pursue athletic training as means of livelihood
- Currently enrolled in final year of Professional Athletic Training Program during scholarship application academic year, OR
- Graduate of a CAATE-accredited Professional Athletic Training Program within the last year
- Applicant must be either eligible to take the BOC Examination at time of award or have become BOC-certified within the last year
Award Details:
- First-place award: $2,000.00
- Second-place award: $1,500.00
- Presented annually

- Clinical recommendation (preceptor)
