Overview: Grants for local nonprofits seeking funding over $5,000 that align with Georgia's Own Foundation's mission of empowering local youth.

Focus Areas: At least 85% of Foundation grants must support youth empowerment, including:

  • Children's wellbeing

  • Financial literacy

  • Sports-based youth development

  • Access to healthcare, food, and housing

  • Education

  • The arts
  • Award Amount: Over $5,000 (larger grants have been made through special fundraising events such as the annual Golf Challenge)

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    Two-Step Process:
    1. Submit Letter of Inquiry to the Foundation
    2. Upon invitation, complete Large Grant Proposal form

    Requirements: Only complete the Large Grant Proposal application after receiving an Invitation To Apply based on a Letter of Inquiry submission.
