Our Story - Celebrating Over 25 Years of Giving

The Landfall Foundation was formed as a means for Landfall residents to thoughtfully and confidently extend support to greater Wilmington area non-profit organizations. Grants are awarded after our Grants Committee evaluates applications for projects and programs in the areas of the arts, education, health and welfare. This valuable contribution to smaller organizations, that are often underfunded, makes a major impact on the vital needs of our community.

At The Landfall Foundation, we take pride in supporting nonprofit organizations and schools across the greater Wilmington area, helping them address critical needs in arts, education, and health and welfare.

Our new grant framework ensures we continue to honor this legacy by creating opportunities for both sustainable, smaller-scale efforts and bold, transformative projects. We look forward to partnering with you to create meaningful change in our community.

New Grant Categories

To ensure we can support initiatives of all sizes, our grants are now organized by funding levels.

Applicants may submit one grant application per calendar year. Please decide carefully whether you wish to be considered for a Micro or Macro grant.

Micro Grants

* Up to $10,000. These grants are ideal for smaller programs or projects and offer organizations the opportunity to sustain or grow their impact.

Macro Grants

* $10,001 to $50,000. Approximately 3-5 will be awarded annually. These grants are designed for high-impact initiatives. These selective grants will focus on projects that can bring about transformative change in the community.
