Lakeway Civic Corporation Grant Program

The Lakeway Civic Corporation manages a trust fund that supports projects in the City of Lakeway that benefit its residents.

Geographic Scope

• Location: City of Lakeway, Texas, US
• Eligibility: Projects must benefit the citizens of Lakeway

Eligible Uses

Grants can be used by individuals or organizations for:

• Training
• Items
• Funds that support the arts or philanthropy
• Nature and parks projects

Ineligible Uses

Will NOT fund:

• Schools
• Churches
• Social media organizations

Eligibility Requirements

• Project must benefit the citizens of Lakeway
• Project must be completed within twelve months from grant approval date
• Must have a detailed budget
• Must submit a progress report one year after grant approval
• Can be applied for by an individual or organization
• Frequency limitation: Organization or individual may only apply for one grant annually
• Reapplication limitation: May only apply once every three years
• Grants are for the year applied
• No expectation that LCC will fulfill grant requests from the same organization annually

Grant Submission Process

1. Submit grant request using the application form on the website
2. Grant request will be acknowledged upon receipt
3. Decision timeline: Approval, denial, or modified grant request will be addressed at the next LCC meeting, which is held on the third Wednesday of each month
4. Payment: Grantees will receive the check for their grant within one month of the grant approval date
5. Fund distribution: Funds will be applied via check for the project with invoices paid by LCC treasurer
6. Reporting: Grantee must submit a report, summary, or evaluation within one year of grant approval date

Required Application Materials

Submit a letter of request for funding that includes:

• Name of organization
• Contact information:
  • Contact name
  • Email
  • Phone number of person making the request
• Website link (if applicable)
• Requested amount
• Project description including:
  • Target completion date
  • Evaluation of project success
  • Detailed project cost (specify if LCC will be supplementing other funds or be the sole source of funds)
  • Project Manager name
  • Financial responsibility (who will control expenditures?)
  • Previously requested grants (from whom and how were they used?)

Required Reporting

Within one year of grant approval, submit a report including:

• How the funds were used to benefit the citizens of Lakeway
• Evidence of how many people benefited from the project
