Application Process
1. Submit application through the Lacey Rotary Foundation application portal
2. Application evaluation conducted by scholarship committee (led by Mike Marohn as of 2020) based on academics, activities, and community service focus
3. Award notification - Students and parents are notified of scholarship award
4. Award presentation - Invited to Lacey Rotary Thursday lunch meeting at St. Martin's Worthington Center for introduction and presentation
5. College enrollment confirmation - Student informs registrar/admissions office of scholarship at college of attendance
6. Fund release - Written confirmation of enrollment from college registrar/admissions office must be sent to Lacey Rotary Scholarship Committee Chairperson before funds are released
7. Fund disbursement - Funds sent directly to college naming both the college and student
8. Follow-up requirement - Scholarship winners required to revisit Lacey Rotary within one year of scholarship for activity update
