Research grant Le Conservatoire pour la Protection des Primates is a non-profit organisation founded by the French Primate Park “LA VALLEE DES SINGES” to fund conservation programs for wild populations of primates. Since 2009, the Primates Conservacy Trust (Le Conservatoire pour la Protection des Primates) allocates twice a year (April and October "La Vallée des Singes" Primates Conservation Research. The selected research should have expected positive impact on primate conservation around the world. Priority is given to research in the field and dedicated to lesser-kown species and (probably) threaten by exinction. There is urgent need for research on endangered primates species geographical distribution and taxonomy. These aspect will be given priorities. Finally, we would favour citizens from the same countries as the primates studied. Our intention is provide support for research whose data may be useful in establishing and implementing a conservation plan for the species under study.Eligibility
