    Funding Priorities

    • The Kiwanis Club does not provide capital or regular operating funds
    • Assistance with worthy projects that will help youth and senior citizens in need and/or improve the environment
    • Projects where Kiwanis members can supply sweat equity receive closer scrutiny
    • Interested in projects with member volunteer involvement

    Eligible Applicants

    • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations
    • Organizations serving the Roanoke Valley Metropolitan Statistical Area
    • Chapters of national/international organizations may apply

    - Detail opportunities for member participation/sweat equity

    4. Publicity:
    - Plans to publicize the project
    - How publicity will include The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke

    5. Prior Kiwanis Funding (if applicable):
    - If funds received during current year, describe how spent
    - Indicate whether project met proposal objectives
    - Report number of individuals served by grant
