Kiwanis Club of Lincoln Community Grants

Program Purpose:
Award grants as part of the annual budget process to support projects and programs that align with Kiwanis objectives and improve the lives of youth in the community.

Geographic Scope: Lincoln, California community

Eligibility:

  • Nonprofit organizations, activities and projects focused on community youth

  • Must align with Kiwanis club goals
  • Award Details:

  • Grants range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars (depending on fundraising results and community needs)

  • Resubmitted annually

  • Recipients and amounts determined by:

  • - Club's historical and current community knowledge and awareness
    - Annual strategic goals and objectives

  • Childhood literacy and education

  • Health and safety
  • Fiscal Year: October 1st through September 30th

    4. Board Review and Decision
    - Grant requests reviewed by Board of Directors
    - Board currently meets the second Thursday of each month
    - Applicants typically notified in 2 to 4 weeks
