    Background

    This grant was established as part of The Kiwanis Club of Tampa's 100th anniversary celebration. The Tampa Kiwanis Foundation has a history of providing over $2 million in contributions to the Tampa/Hillsborough community since its inception in the early 1960s.

    Application Process

    1. Register for Bidders Conference Call (optional but encouraged)
    - Register by Noon on July 16, 2019 to receive logistics
    - Conference call scheduled for July 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM
    - Opportunity to ask questions about the grant

    2. Prepare Application Materials
    - Download the Application Worksheet from the website (for drafting purposes only)
    - Complete the online application form
    - Gather all required attachments

    3. Submit Application Electronically
    - Applications must be submitted electronically
    - Deadline: 11:59 PM Monday, August 5, 2019

    - Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted

    • IRS Letter of Tax-Exempt Certification
    • Project budget
    • Current W-9 form for the organization
    • Letter of support from a Tampa Kiwanis member (optional but encouraged)

      Selection Process

    • Applications scored by Tampa Kiwanis Foundation
    • Finalists invited to present to Foundation Board
    • May request additional information or conduct site visits
    • Goal to select recipient prior to September 27, 2019 celebration dinner
    • Foundation reserves right to postpone decision or not make an award
