GRANT INFORMATION Karen believed that compassion is the only true source of power and was deeply committed to promoting the skills and traits of mindfulness that become part of living ethically, compassionately and healthfully. The Karen Kisslinger Fund is a unique charitable resource established by Karen’s family to continue her legacy of health in body, mind, spirit and community. Karen was a healer, teacher, writer and artist who had a broad impact on her community. Grants will provide support for students participating in out of school time programs that align with the Kisslinger Fund’s mission. These activities may include but not be limited to: Yoga classes/yoga teacher trainingMindfulness and MeditationHolistic and Integrative healthSpirituality, health and healingComplementary and integrative healthSustainable food and farming courses
