Kaiser Permanente: Washington Region - Sponsorships Grant

Kaiser Permanente's Washington Region offers sponsorships to nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies that align with its mission to improve community health. With a focus on sustainability, equity, and relationship-building, the program evaluates proposals based on their potential to create lasting value and positive exposure. Ineligible requests include support for religious activities, political campaigns, or individual medical funding, ensuring that resources are directed towards community-driven initiatives that enhance public health.

Kaiser Permanente provides sponsorships for community events and activities that support our mission and that are consistent with focus areas identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment.
When evaluating sponsorship proposals, Kaiser Permanente considers the following criteria in addition to the CHNA:

• The opportunity to create long-term value
• The potential to reach the communities Kaiser Permanente serves and build sustainable relationships
• The ability to provide positive exposure for Kaiser Permanente and increase brand familiarity
• The opportunity to support Kaiser Permanente’s mission, business priorities and enrollment growth
• The potential for engaging Kaiser Permanente employees
• The potential for promoting equity, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in the communities we serve

Eligibility

Kaiser Permanente will consider funding requests from nonprofit organizations (501(c)(3)) or equivalent organizations such as tribes, public schools, universities, and government agencies and programs. To be eligible, applicants must have operations in areas of Washington served by Kaiser Permanente.

Ineligibility

We do not sponsor:Events or programs outside the Washington Region of Kaiser Permanente including international or social organizationsThe Southwest Washington counties of Cowlitz and Clark are part of the Kaiser Permanente Northwest Region.Local (city, school) sporting events, individuals, or teams
Field trips or tours; school-affiliated orchestras, bands, choirs, drama groups, yearbooks, class parties, or class or team projects
Endowments or memorials
Religious activities, in whole or in part, for the purpose of furthering religious doctrine
Partisan political activities, candidates, or organizations
Personal appeals for funding of individual medical care, insurance coverage for individuals, scholarships, tuition, educational expenses, or conference registration
Organizations that have already received funding for a sponsorship within the calendar year
