June is Fatherhood Month 2025

The Department of Children and Youth (“DCY”) is issuing this RFGA for June is Responsible Fatherhood Month. In recognition of the importance of involved, committed, and supportive fathers, the Ohio Department of Children and Youth on behalf of the Ohio Commission on Fatherhood (OCF) for the purpose to award up to ten (10) mini-grants to not-for-profit organizations and/or government entities to provide father- child events during the month of June 2025. Each grant will provide funding of $3,000.00, with disbursements made on a reimbursement basis. All expenses must occur within June 2025, as advanced funding is not an option.

For the purposes of this funding opportunity, a father is defined as a biological, custodial, legal, adoptive, expectant father, grandfather, stepfather, or adult male family member serving in a father role for children aged 21 or younger.
