Guidelines Areas of Funding: Performing Arts ~ dance, music, opera, theatre, musical theatre, stagecraft, costume/makeup The purpose of this significant grant is to make an impact to our community. In reviewing grant applications, in addition to evaluating the potential impact of the requests, the Foundation gives careful consideration to: Programs which would contribute to Performing Arts.  The ability of the organization or program to become self-supporting after initial seed money or interim funding. The extent of local volunteer involvement and support for the organization’s board. The organization’s fiscal responsibility and management qualifications.

Eligibility

Organizations must be properly constituted and organized with a board of directors, by-laws, financial records and controls. Grant applications will be accepted from all Gilroy public and private schools and the City of Gilroy. You must also have the most recent copy of the RRF-1 to the Attorney General of the State of California.

Ineligibility

FUNDING WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR Capital Improvements Budget shortfalls or fundraising events Previously planned or long-term campaigns Funding gaps due to organizational emergencies, such as office vandalism, resignation of an executive director or a sudden loss of funding
