Grants & Scholarships Grants power our nonprofit partners on the frontlines of pressing local issues, filling the opportunity gaps through direct-to-people programming. Scholarships support aspiring college students who hold the promise of tomorrow’s progress. Together, our competitive grants and scholarships help our region rise thanks to the vision and generosity of our donors. The Community Foundation offers both need and merit based scholarships. Julian and Eunice S. Cohen Scholarship Fund About the Fund Julian and Eunice Cohen believed deeply in the power of giving back. After moving to Palm Beach in the 1970s, they became devoted supporters of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, establishing both a Donor Advised Fund and a scholarship fund to help local students achieve their dreams.
