Overview:
The JBT Scholarship is the premier scholarship program of the University of Illinois ACES. Scholarships have been awarded for over 30 years to outstanding incoming freshmen based on leadership, good citizenship, and scholarly achievement.

  • Food Science (CSIFT-designated scholarship for food science students)

  • Incoming freshman at University of Illinois ACES

  • Meet minimum academic requirements

  • CSIFT Contribution: $8,000/year (enhanced by $2,000 from College of ACES)

  • Recipients receive competitive scholarship awards based on merit
  • Background:
    CSIFT began supporting this scholarship in 1987 with a $1,000 donation. Since then, CSIFT has provided continuous annual support and contributed over $114,000. Over 30 JBT awardees have benefitted from CSIFT support since the partnership began.
