Johnson County Small Business Recovery Grant

  • Be a for-profit or non-profit small business

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Pre-Eligibility Assessment: Use the Grant Pre-Eligibility Quiz to calculate your revenue loss percentage by comparing 2019 revenue to 2021 revenue. Revenue loss must be 25% or greater to proceed.

    2. Two-Phase Application:
    - Phase 1: Complete online application
    - Phase 2: ECJC staff will review your documentation and contact you within 48 hours with any questions

    3. Required Documentation:
    - Proof of business address (lease agreement, rental agreement, mortgage statement, or utility bill)
    - Employee roster (to verify 1-50 full-time employees)
    - 2019 tax returns (to verify baseline revenue)
    - 2021 tax returns (to verify revenue loss)

    4. Status Updates: Do not contact offices for status updates; applicants will receive email notification of grant status after application review
