ALX B2B Business Association Grant Program

Overview:
The Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) and City of Alexandria awarded approximately $535,000 in funding to eight Alexandria-based business associations to help them build organizational capacity and grow their programs to support local businesses. Funding came from the City's American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds.

    Matching Requirements

  • Applicants requesting more than $50,000 must provide a match of $1 for every $5 in grant funds awarded (20% match requirement)

    Eligibility

  • Established and emerging Alexandria-based business associations
  • Organizations serving specific business districts or demographic groups (minority-owned, etc.)
